If insuffi ciently fastened, the straps can loosen and the devices
could fl y through the air in the event of an impact.
− When tightening the straps, ensure that the straps do not form
loops and always lie smoothly on the headrest.
Mains connection
Once all other components are connected, connect the mains cable.
− Plug the microUSB plug of the mains adapter into the microUSB socket

on
the DVD player.
− Connect the mains cable to a properly installed and permanently accessible AC
100–240 V~, 50/60 Hz safety socket.
Car adapter
− Plug the microUSB plug of the car adapter into the microUSB socket

on the
DVD player.
− Connect the car adapter to a suitable 12 / 24 V car socket, e.g. the car’s cigarette
lighter.
When the car adapter is connected, the battery will charge while the device is
switched off (see above). Please take this into account when the engine is switched
off. The car battery may be drained!

− Press and hold on/off button

for approx. 3 seconds.
The device switches on.
