Cabling
− Position the cables so that they cannot be stepped on or
tripped over.
− Do not place any objects on the cables as they may be
damaged.
Power supply
When you fi rst switch on the device, or after it has been powered off
for a long period, connect it to the mains adapter or car charger. The
device is fi tted with an integrated, rechargeable, high-performance
lithium-ion battery, which you can recharge using the supplied
mains adapter or the car charger.
Mains adapter
Your device is supplied with a universal power adapter and a car
charger. The following range is supported:
AC
100–240 V~ 50/60 Hz alternating current
Please observe the
operating safety instructions for the mains adapter.
Connect the mains adapter to the mains.
Connect the car charger adapter to the 12 V connector in your
vehicle.
The mains adapter/car charger supplies the device with electricity
and charges the battery. The battery is also charged if you are
working with the device and the mains adapter/car charger is
connected. Even when the device is not connected, the mains
adapter will still be supplied with electricity. Therefore, disconnect
the mains adapter from the mains electricity network when it is not
connected to the device.
