19. Licence information
Parts of this product are based on open-source software. The use of this software
falls under Version 2 of the GNU General Public Licence (GPL). This means that the
manufacturer is obliged to make the corresponding source code, which may have
been updated, available under this licence too.
You can access the source code for this product in the following ways:

Visit the MEDION Service page on the website
(http://www.medion.com/de/service/start) and type the name, MD number or
MSN number of your device into the search box. You can find this information on
the back of your device. Select the “Software” category in the window that ap-
pears next.

Alternatively, we can provide you with the source code on a data medium at no
cost to you. If you would like us to do this, please send an email to
[email protected] or give us a call on +49 (0)201 22099-345 (there will
be no additional charges on top of the standard fees charged by your telephone
provider).
Please note that the source code is only of interest to software developers. Regular
users of the product do not normally need it.
