7.10. Quick settings
Quick settings provides a quick way to change frequently used settings.
Swipe down from the top of the display to open the quick settings menu.
Once the window has opened, swipe down again to see more quick settings op-
tions.
Each setting has an icon and a name.
Tap the relevant icon to enable/disable the setting. This is a quick way of ena-
bling/disabling Wi-Fi, for example.
Press and hold an icon to access the advanced settings, such as the Wi-Fi config-
uration.
The following quick settings options are available as standard:
Increase/decrease display brightness
Enable/disable Wi-Fi
Switch Bluetooth on/off
Enable/disable do not disturb mode
Switch auto-rotate screen (portrait/landscape orientation) on/off
Switch energy-saving mode on/off
Switch flight mode on/off (all radio connections are disabled in flight
mode)
Switch streaming (screen sharing on another device) on/off
Tap
to add further quick settings options, such as location detection (switch GPS
on/off ), or to remove existing options from the quick settings menu.
Tap the
icon to manage the user and profile settings.
