9. Connecting the tablet PC to a PC
You can connect your tablet PC to a PC using the supplied USB cable so that data
can be transferred between the two devices.
Plug the micro USB connector on the USB cable into the corresponding port on
the tablet PC and then plug the USB connector into an empty USB port on your
PC.
Then swipe down from the top of the display to open up the notification win-
dow.
Quickly tap twice on the Android system message giving you a USB charging up-
date for the device to open the USB usage settings.
Choose what you would like to do with the USB connection.
Select
File Transfer
if you would like to view your tablet PC as a
mass storage device on your PC and transfer data.
10. External storage media
You can use external storage media with your tablet PC. The following types of stor-
age media are compatible:

Micro SD memory cards
–
USB memory devices, such as USB sticks and USB hard drives
If you wish to use USB storage devices, you will need a compatible OTG adapter (not
supplied).
The maximum output current at the USB port is 5 V, 500 mA.
If you would like to connect an external hard drive, you may need to provide an ad-
ditional power supply for the hard drive depending on the model.
10.1. Inserting a micro SD memory card
Insert the micro SD memory card into the relevant slot until
it clicks into place. The contacts should be facing up towards
the display.
