The only devices which may be connected to the device are
those which meet the requirements set out in the EN60950
standard “Information Technology Equipment – Safety” or the
EN60065 standard “Audio, video and similar electronic appa-

2.3. Restricted
use
Always switch off the tablet PC in the following situations:
• Before you get on a plane or before you pack the tablet PC
in your luggage. The use of tablet PCs and other devices
that transmit radio waves may interfere with the aircraft’s ra-
dio communications systems, jeopardising flight safety. The
use of all devices that transmit radio waves is prohibited on
planes.
• In hospitals, clinics or other health centres and in all places in
the immediate vicinity of medical equipment.
• Everywhere that there is a risk of explosion (e.g. petrol sta-
tions or in dusty environments, e.g. where there is metal
dust).
• In places where it is compulsory to switch off radio-con-
trolled equipment, e.g. on major construction sites or in plac-
es where blasting operations are carried out.
Due to the 5 GHz WLAN technology used, the tablet PC may only
be used inside buildings.
If you need to use the device outside buildings, disable the 5
GHz WLAN.
Always use the tablet PC on a stable surface to minimise vi-
brations and to prevent the device from falling.
The tablet PC is not suitable for use at workstations in line with
the regulation for computer workstations.
