McLaren 540C vs. Mercedes AMG 570GT S

The M838TE unit onboard the McLaren Sports Series 540C produces more outright power (+30PS) in conjunction with a low
vehicle weight provides a significantly better power-to weight ratio (DIN 373PS vs. 325PS) before any lightweight options
are added (-39kg on 540C)

The Mercedes AMG 570GT features a revised platform from the SLS (launched in 2010) . The same aluminium construction
methods have been employed and therefore Sports Series weighs considerably less, as much as 160+ Kg less with
lightweight options.

The McLaren 540C is quicker to 100km/h by 0.3secs and has a higher top speed (199mph vs. 193mph)

The McLaren 540C features the classic Sportscar layout; mid engine, rear-wheel-drive

Suspension settings and powertrain settings can be controlled independently of each other on Sports Series as standard
allowing for a fully tailored driving experience to suit road conditions of driver mood

Sports Series is and will remain more exclusive than AMG 570GT throughout its production lifecycle
