Connecting Directly with RBR Sensors
The Sediment Trap firmware communicates with the RBR sensors @9600 baud. Do not change
this setting.

Once connected directly to the sensor, typing commands at the command prompt provides
additional sensor information. This Appendix describes basic commands and confirms correct
configuration and commands. For a full set of commands, see the RBR user information included
with the sensor.
Figure B-4 shown next displays examples of direct communications with the RBR sensor. For
specific RBR commands and variables, refer to the sensor manual. Settings should not be
changed without consulting McLane or RBR.
