Note: The WAN_1 and WAN_2 menus are identical, so use the above steps to enable the second
WAN port, if necessary.

key to accept changes and go back to the Configuration Menu.

6. Press
Enter
to save changes to the active config (.swt) file.
Setting the Sync Rate
1. Access the Sync Setup menu from the main menu using the following path:
MI Path:
Gateway->Configuration->WAN->WAN_1->Sync Setup
The menu has the following parameter:

key to access the
Sync Rate
parameter and type in the correct Sync rate. This
parameter sets the synchronous data transfer speed of the WAN port and must match the network
device speed.
Note: This Sync Rate information, displayed in bytes, must be obtained through the network device
documentation.

key to accept changes and go back to the Configuration Men
u.
4. Press
the
↓
key to the
Save
parameter. Press
Enter
to save changes to the active config (.swt) file.
Setting the Mode of the WAN Port
1. Access the WAN_1 (or WAN_2) menu from the main menu using the following path:
MI Path:
Gateway->Configuration->WAN->WAN_1
The menu has the following parameters:

network device connected to the WAN port. Press the
