In the highly unlikely event the Controls and/or Push-
buttons on the MX122 become non-response, it may
become necessary to reset the microprocessors in the
MX122. Perform the following steps to take corrective
action:
REMOVE POWER:
1. Remove the AC Power Cord from the Rear Panel of
the MX122.
2. Having waited at least 15 to 20 seconds after re
-
moving the AC Power Cord, reattach the AC Power
Cord to the Rear Panel of the MX122.
3. Press the Front Panel STANDYBY On Push-button
to switch Power ON to the MX122

Resetting the Microprocessors
The following steps will return the MX122 to factory
default settings:
1. Press the STANDYBY On Push-button to switch
Power OFF to the MX122. Refer to figure 82.
2. When the unit is OFF, press and hold-in the
"MOVIE" and "MUSIC" Front Panel Push-buttons,
followed by pressing the STANDBY ON Push-
button.
3. When the MX122 is powered ON and all the Front
Panel Information Display Segments are illuminat
-
ed, release the Front Panel Push-buttons "MOVIE"
and "MUSIC".
4. Perform the steps in the MX122 Initial Setup
Guide (separate instruction sheet).

5. If you previously stored all the MX122 User Set

ting to a PC file stored on your computer, now is
the time to reload data into the MX122.
