If an update/upgrade is available, the MX122 will dis

play a message On-Screen and also on the Front Panel

With the MX122 connected to your Home Network
via a Network Router with an active Internet Access
Device connected, perform the following steps:
1. Press the SETUP Push-button on the Remote Con
-
trol and the Main Setup Menu will appear on the
Monitor/TV screen. Using the Down
Directional
Push-button on the Remote Control select “Gen
-
eral”. Refer to figure 6.
3. Select "Firmware" by using the Down
Direc-
tional Push-button on the Remote Control. Refer
to figure 7.
4. Referring to figure 8 press the ENTER Push-but
-
ton on the Remote Control to select "Update".
5. Figure 9 will now appear on the screen, press
the ENTER Push-button on the Remote Control.
The MX122 will now connect to the Internet and
check to see if a Firmware Update is available.
Refer to figures 10 and 11.
6. Referring to figure 12, if it is desirable to switch
Off the Automatic Firmware Notification, use
Directional Up
or Down
Push-button on the
Remote Control to select "Notification", followed
by pressing the ENTER Push-button.
7. To switch Off the Firmware Update, first press
the ENTER Push-Button, then use the Directional
Left
or Right
Push-button to select "Off" fol
-
lowed by pressing the ENTER Push-button. Refer
to figure 5.
8. To exit the SETUP Mode press the SETUP or
BACK Push-button.

Settings and Suggested Component Connections are
all one needs for full enjoyment of movies, still pho
-
tos, videos and music.
The MX122 Setup Mode has a number of addi
-
tional options allowing integration into your Home
Theater System. Usually, your McIntosh Dealer and/or
Custom Installer uses these additional capabilities.
The navigation and selection methods previously
illustrated also apply to the remainder of Setup Mode
Settings, which resume on page 18.
