change it by using the "Floor- Layout" and/or

6. Those settings can be changed by using the the

- Layout", then press the ENTER Push-button
followed by using the Left

tional Push-buttons to select the correct number
of "Floor Located" Loudspeakers, followed by the
Height Sp, Dolby Sp and/or Layout.
7. When completed proceed to Audyssey Setup.
Initial Loudspeaker Setup
Before proceeding with Audyssey Auto Setup, it is
very important to first go into the Setup Mode to
establish the correct settings for your specific Loud
-
speaker complement and location in the Home Theater
Room. This will not only assure the best acoustic
performance using Audyssey Room Equalization Cor
-
rection, but it will also assure the best sonic perfor
-
mance using the latest in surround sound technology
built into the MX122. Please refer to the MX122 Menu
separate folded sheets "

while per-
forming the following steps:
1. If the Remote Control LCD Display does not
indicate "AVP", press the AVP Push-button. Refer
to figure 16.
2. Press the SETUP Push-button to enter the Setup
Mode.
3. Using the Navigation Push-buttons and the Enter
Push-button on the Remote Control or Front
Panel, select from the On-Screen menu "Speakers"
followed by "Amp Assign". Refer to the MX122
Menu - 5 Separate Sheet.
4. The default setting for Loudspeakers is 11.1 Loud
-
speakers. Refer to figure 14.
