Replacing the carbon brush

CLEANING AND MAINTANCE

CAUTION! B

1. Maximum abrasion marking

Regularly remove the carbon brushes and conduct a visual inspection.

a) Replace the carbon brushes when the amount of wear reaches the maximum abrasion marking. Keep the

brushes clean and ensure that they can move freely in the brush holder. Both carbon brushes should be

replaced at the same time. Only use carbon brushes provided by the manufacturer.

a) Use a screwdriver to remove the brush cover. Remove the used carbon brushes. Insert the new brushes

and secure the cover in place.

After replacing the carbon brushes, connect the tool to the power supply and let it run idle for

approximately 10 minutes. When the tool is running, check that it is operating normally and release the

on/off trigger to check that the electric brake is working.
