10. External signal in Main Set2
The unit can receive and amplify an external signal to output.
When this function is enabled, the internal AC voltage, current, and frequency settings are
disabled. See the dotted line in the figure below.
As the DC voltage and current settings are still valid, they can be superimposed on an
external signal for output.
Amplification degree:
+5V input: +rating x 100%
-5V input: -rating x 100%

In addition, when the setting is switched while the output is turned on, the output will be turned
off for safety reasons.
In order to enable or disable the external signal function, use the DIAL.
When the external signal function is enabled, the normal measurement may not be possible
depending on the input waveform. Moreover, the protection itself may malfunction because
the cutoff protection uses root-mean-square values.
Use the limit protection as much as possible when the function is enabled.
