11. Soft start and Soft stop in Main Set2
The unit is equipped with soft start and soft stop functions, which change the output voltage
from the stat value to the end value within a set period of time when the output is turned on or
off.
The operation of changing the DC voltage/current is known as DC voltage/current ramp, and
the AC voltage/current is known as AC voltage/current sweep. In addition, the operation of
changing frequency is referred to as frequency sweep.

Pressing the OUTPUT switch will enable the soft start and soft stop functions.
In order to stop the output while the soft start or soft stop function has been operating, press
the OUTPUT switch to force to terminate the operation.
The setting parameters for the soft start and soft stop are four: start value, stop value,
operating time, and variation like constant or from start to end.
For the change rate, there are two types as follows.
Constant:
The set start value is output for the set period of time.
The set end value will be ignored.
Variation:
Ramp and sweep
The output varies from the set start value to the set end value for the
set period of time.
The setting parameters cannot be modified while the soft start or soft stop function is in
operation.
Please note that end values differ from the normal output one.
