SCALE SYSTEM
FUNCTION KEYS
Recall

last stable measurement will be displayed for 5 seconds.
On/Zero
: Used to turn on weight scale (if in sleep mode), or to
zero the scale (tare or minor offset adjustment).
lb/kg:
Used to select measurement units (pounds or
kilograms).
Up
: Used to request a lift upward motion.
Down
: Used to request a lift downward motion.
DISPLAY
Sleep mode
: A single dot " ." will be shown during sleep mode.
Sleep mode is entered after 20 minutes of scale inactivity.
Ongoing weight measurement:
Adding or subtracting weight
on the scale platform will cause a new weight measurement
process to be started.
During this process, the display will show "----" until a stable
weight measure is obtained. A person changing his/her
position on the chair or stretching an arm or leg will cause the
measurement process to take more time to complete.
Completed weight measurement
: Once a stable weight
measure is obtained, the weight will be displayed for 5 seconds
with a single digit precision, rounded to 0.5. Measurement
units can be changed using the "
lb/kg"
key.
Exception or errors: If tare weight is removed or if an upward
force is applied to the scale platform, "zero" will be shown on
the display. Use the "On/Zero" key to zero the scale, or remove
the upward force source.
If the applied weight exceeds the capacities of the scale
platform, "over" will be shown on the display.
