If a device is connect via TCP/IP then the app can recognize automatically (if the permit on the

Firewall

is enabled) the device and ask to the USER to connect it or not and insert in the List the

device found if it is not already inserted.

Add Device:

with the button “Add Device” is possible to insert manually a device

The Connection Mode (Interface in the Device List) are USB, RS485, TCP/IP.
If the User select:

USB Mode, only one device can be selected in USB mode. If on the Device-List is already
present a device set in USB mode then the system inform the User after pressed the button OK,
that is not possible to insert other device in USB Mode

RS485 Mode, must set an ID and this must be the same used on the device that the user want to
connect. The ID range is from 1 to 32 (max 32 device can be added). If on the Device-List is
already present a device set in RS485 mode with same ID then the system inform the User after
pressed the button OK, that is not possible to insert other device with the same ID

TCP/IP (LAN) Mode, must set an IP address and this must be the same used on the device that
the user want to connect. The IP range is from 1.0.0.1 to 223.255.255.254. If on the Device-List
is already present a device set in LAN mode with same IP then the system inform the User after
pressed the button OK, that is not possible to insert other device with the same IP
