Engine Compartment Fire Extinguisher
Your boat is equipped with a Fireboy
®
Fire Extinguishing System. The extinguisher is
mounted in the engine compartment.
The fire extinguishing system is activated when the key is turned to the ON position. An
indicator light mounted next to the emergency safety lanyard will illuminate green,
indicating the fire extinguishing system is activated.
Do not start the engine if the indicator light does not
illuminate green when the key is in the ON position. See your
dealership immediately to locate the problem.
The extinguisher is equipped with a pressure gauge indicating
the level of charge. Inspect the pressure gauge daily before
starting the engine.
If the gauge indicates RECHARGE, service the fire
extinguishing system before operating the boat.
Do not operate the boat if the fire
extinguishing system requires service.
See your dealership immediately to
service the system.
The fire extinguishing system will automatically actuate when the sensor on the
extinguisher detects the temperature in the engine compartment reaches 175°F.
