4.21. TURBO function
TURBO function is designed for vehicles with turbo engines. When larger loads, the engine is
heated to high temperatures and in a few minutes, during which it will run at idle will cooled.
This function must be enabled in programming menu 1-01
(Installation guide page 37).
Conditions: TURBO mode turned on (Installation guide page 37)
running engine
long press START button (without hit the brake pedal)
While the engine running in Turbo mode, display will show a flashing icon
and the
remaining time of engine running.
Engine can be turned off (during TURBO mode):
- by pressing button
for more that 2 seconds
- by hitting the brake pedal and long press of START button
Extending the turbo time:
Press button
for more than 2 seconds (engine must running during TURBO
mode).
Display will
flash „Turbo Again“ and the engine will be running again for the preset
time.
4.22. RPS (Remote Paging System)
Using MAGICAR M870AS it is possible to call the owner of the car to
the vehicle, if the car is armed.
Behind the windscreen is glued a
circle with red-blue warning LED diode in the middle. When activated,
system flashes. If you knock quickly two times in row on the window,
where the RPS is fixed, hard enough for LED light to remain lit red for
a few seconds, the owner’s remote will start beeping and vibrating (if
within the range) and will display icon
The owner will be thus made known that someone
is there next to his car and is calling him. By knocking on RPS the alarm will not go off.
Remote will be beeping at 6 seconds intervals, until you press any button. You can adjust
sensitivity of RPS at 3 levels on the reverse-side of RPS.
