When pressing stop and/or off, the
feeder must stop.
The electric equipment must be
handled by skilled operators only!
2 - 5 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
The power feeder is supplied with the
electric control equipment already
fitted in, and the power line to be
connected.
The machine tool must be connected
through a special power line provided
with a safety device against short
-
circuits and overloads, with fuses
suited to the feeder power intake and
the mains voltage.
The machine tool can only be installed
by
specially skilled operators,
following all the instructions provided
by this user and maintenance manual.
The power feeder must be powered
with a voltage and frequency as
specified on the plate affine onto the
motor.
Before connecting the feeder to the
power mains, make sure the power
line is equipped with an efficient
earthing device.
The point of connection to the energy
source must be equipped with all the
safety devices as set forth by the ap-
plicable laws and regulations.
If power extensions are required,
check if the cable section is fit for
withstanding the electric strenght input
to the feeder; power extensions
should be as short as possible.
The power feeder should be started
only by intentionally operating a con-
trol device specifically provided to
start it.
