Line-item discount columns are defined as follows:
Disc_threshold
defines the threshold requirement for receiving the discount. This
value will most likely be obtained from your database.
Disc_rate
defines the rate of the discount if the threshold is met.
Disc_value
determines the value of the discount based on characteristics of the
order item and the value in the DISC_RATE column.
Disc_type
defines the discount type in terms of the threshold data (that is,
quantity or price) and rate type (that is, flat or percentage).
DrumNote_506 contains a detailed explanation and examples of using line
item discounts.
Data Map Fourth Row (Is Visible)
determines the visibility of a column in the SC
Display element. Columns that you want to be visible should be set to 'true'
and columns that you want to be hidden should be set to 'false.' For instance,
the Product ID is a required column in the cart, but you may not want to clutter
the cart display with a cryptic ID. By setting the ID column's visibility to false,
you won't see the ID, but it will be there when you submit the cart to your
orders database.
Modifying the Data Map Content Table
The basic ShoppingCart CSV file provides a good starting point for your
shopping cart and contains all the required columns. Most likely, you will have to
change the names of the source and destination DB fields, modify the column
names to your liking, and add additional columns you'd like to display.
To change the name of a Source DB field, Destination DB field, or visibility,
double-click in the cell. A text editor will appear and allow you to rename the
appropriate field.
To add a new column, select the Edit Content Table icon. In the resulting
dialog box, increment the column count by one for each column you want to
add. When you first attempt to add values to the various rows of the column, a
dialog will prompt you for the column name and type. Enter the name, select
'Text' for type, and select 'Unformatted' for text type. Provide appropriate
values for each row of the new column, as described above.
Note:
Afer adding a new column, Drumbeat automatically puts it in the “don’t show these
columns list” in the Cart congent dialog. You must fix this by selecting the cart, clicking the
ellipses button for Content attributes, and moving all the newly added columns into the
“Show these columns list.” YOU MUST MAKE THIS CHANGE ON EACH PAGE THAT
CONTAINS THE SHOPPING CART.
