Changing the Design-time Shopping Cart Image
Once you have formatted the Shopping Cart display by setting its attributes, you
can publish, browse, and then take a screenshot of the display. Save the screenshot
as a BMP. Then, you can change the design-time image. From Element Library in
the Appearance tab, you can browse to and select the BMP for the element to use
at design-time.
Updating the Shopping Cart
Once you have the Shopping Cart server and Display SmartElements to the page,
you can add the update and continue shopping buttons. You can follow the steps
below for adding both the update and continue shopping buttons.
To add the form buttons:

From the SmartElement Toolbar, add a button to the page.

Shift select the Shopping Cart Display, Shopping Cart Server, and the button.
Right click and choose Possible Interactions.

From the list of interactions, you can choose to either update the shopping cart
and remain on the same page or to redirect to another page. Usually you would
remain on the same page when updating the shopping cart and only redirect to
another page when continuing shopping. You can learn about the interaction
parameters in the Reference section under Shopping Cart Contracts.
The Shopping Cart Display can be on the same page where the user adds products
to the cart. The Shopping Cart Display will be updated when an item is added to
the shopping cart. Simply add a Shopping Cart Display SmartElement on the
page, and in the Attributes tab, set the SourceCart to the name of the
ShoppingCartObject in the Basement of that page. Then, to the Add to Shopping
Cart button, apply the interaction: ‘Add Item from recordset to
ShoppingCartObject when button is clicked’. In the parameters dialog, set the
NewItemRedirect to the same page so that the page is redirecting back to itself.
