is ignored. See “Setting code formatting preferences” on page 343.
Viewing and opening files in the
Site window
Use the Site window for viewing local and remote sites, adding or removing site
documents, or laying out the navigational structure of your site with a site map.
For more information, see “About the Site window” on page 108.
You can set each of the two Site window views to show the local site, the remote
site, or a graphical map of the local site. For example, you can view the local site in
one pane and the remote site in the other, or you can view the local site in Site
Files view in one pane and Site Map view in the other. (For information on
viewing site maps, see “About the site map” on page 116.)
Viewing local sites
The Site window can display the contents of both local and remote sites. Local
sites can be viewed in the Site window as a list of files, a visual map, or both.
Remote sites can be viewed as a list of files only. (Before you can view a remote
site, you must set one up; see “Setting up a remote site” on page 123.)
To view local site files, do one of the following:
•
Choose Window > Site Files.
•
In the Site window, if the site map is showing, click the Site Files button.
The Site window displays two sets of files: one side of the window lists the files
in your local site, and one side lists the associated remote site files.
Note:
If you are viewing a local site that has no corresponding remote site, the Remote
Site view is empty.
