32. USER CALIBRATION
User calibration includes calibration by a customer using customer’s measuring instruments and standards, and adjust-
ment to compensate deviation with a device on site.
To calibrate (adjust) the input signal, use “Teach Calibration” function. To compensate deviation between the DC output
and a device on site, use “Analog Output Adjustment” function.
32.1 TEACH CALIBRATION
You can calibrate the input signal by the Teach Calibration function if you need calibration.
The internal calibration data is overwritten every time the unit is calibrated and it is stored even if the power is turned off.
However the data will be lost after an initialization.
Prepare measuring instruments and equipment for calibration by yourselves. Refer to each manual carefully for the instru-
ments and equipment for information on handling them.
32.1.1 TEACH CALIBRATION FLOW
The Teach Calibration is carried out as shown in the following flowchart.
IMPORTANT
• Warm up measuring instruments, equipment and other devices on site for the time specified in each manual, and oper-
ate the unit in a stable condition.
• Refer to Steps 1 and 3 in 3. SETTING SCALING VALUES for the Teach Calibration.
