In the Open URL dialog box, type in the IP Address of the local (host)
system followed by a colon (:) and then the Port number.

Then press OK

Windows Media Player will attempt to connect to the local (host) system.

Once again, this connection is not utilizing any of the advanced features
available in the DVS software, including the bandwidth optimization.
Troubleshooting:
The remote connects but…

NOTE: If after your remote system connects to the local (host) system, you see that
the Connect button is still blue and the Disconnect button is grey, please check the
Feedback window.
