Typically you will see wireless and cloud symbols together, unless there is an issue.
Please see
for further details about the various symbol
combinations that can be displayed.
Testing your wireless and network connection
You can verify that uploading data to the LogTag
®
Online cloud server is working by
initiating a
Connection Test
directly from the UTREL30-WiFi.
During the connection test the logger will
l
connect to your wireless network using the network name and password you
entered during the setup with the LogTag
®
Online Connection Wizard
l
connect to the LogTag
®
Online cloud server
l
exchange a pre-defined set of messages with the cloud server that verify the
device's identity
l
request any information from the server such as the current time
l
upload any new temperature and event data that have been recorded since the last
connection to the cloud server
l
close the connection
This will give you immediate feedback if the logger's wireless and network settings were
configured correctly.
To initiate the connection test, press and hold the
Channel/
FUNCTION
and
REVIEW
/MARK
buttons
simultaneously for approx. 6 seconds. During this
time the Upload arrow symbol ( ) on the display
blinks.
Release the buttons when the symbol stops blinking
and turns on permanently.
The UTREL30-WiFi will now attempt to access the
wireless network (the WLAN symbol shows an
empty circle).
This process is typically very short, so you may not
see this screen.
