Connect local network and test connection
1. Connect a computer to the local network.
2. Move the mouse to the Windows Start symbol and right-click.

The Windows menu opens.
3. Select “Run”.
ð
The Run window opens.
4. Enter “cmd” in the text box.
5. Press
«OK»

ð
A command-line interface window opens.
6. At the cursor, type “ping” followed by the IP address, e.g.
192.168.7.101
.
7. Press Enter to confirm.
ð
The ping utility runs.
ð
The result is shown directly in the command-line interface window.
