3.3
Configuring central units and connecting them to the
network
This section describes the different connections to the network and the associated configurations for the
central units.
The software can be connected to the following central units and Informator units:
n
Central unit: LZE-I, LZE-II, LZE-III and LZE-V
n
Machine type: Schlafhorst AC 338 and Schlafhorst Oerlikon AC5, ACX5 and AC6 Informators
Requirements for configuration and network connection
n
RJ45 cables are available.
n
Plan at least 0.5 meters (1 foot 8 inches) of additional RJ45 cable length.
n
RJ45 cables are laid in a cable tray or other appropriate device.
n
RJ45 cables are not laid together with cables that carry a live voltage.
