16 Cleaning the System
16.1 Cleaning the SafetyMonitor System
The SafetyMonitor system is designed to be maintained and cleaned with minimal effort. The only maintenance required
is that the bed must be kept clean and in a dry environment.
Check once a month:
►
Whether Tag/localisation receiver (if the bed contains it) is not damaged.
Replace Tag in case of damage.
16.2 Cleaning the Localisation System
Clean the localisation system as follows:

Carefully wipe the localisation system Tag with a damp, properly wrung-out textile cloth.
►
The cloth may contain alcohol or an antibacterial agent in a maximum concentration of 5%.
NB:
Do not use corrosive or caustic agents or strong acids (optimal pH 6–8).

After cleaning, wipe Tag with a clean, dry cloth.

Carefully wipe the receiver aperture with a damp, properly wrung-out textile cloth.
