In the Basics tab in the Device interface, you can view and configure general
information about the hardware and software the LifeSize Gateway uses.
Procedure
1 In the LifeSize Gateway interface, on the sidebar, click Device .

Click the Basics tab.
Table 3-1 describes the elements that appear in the Basics tab.
Table 3-1 Device Basic Tab Elements
Field Description
Device name Identifies the model number of the device.
Location User-configured description about the device. Click this field to
type a new description, and then click
Upload on the toolbar.
Serial number The serial number that the factory assigned to the device.
License key Your LifeSize license key for accessing LifeSize Gateway devices.
Click the
Update button to modify your LifeSize license key.
Hardware version The version number of the current hardware configuration.
Software version The first two digits of the version number of the software installed
on the device. Click the
Details button to view details of the
versions of software components installed on the device.
Date/Time The date and time that the LifeSize Gateway clock reports.
