Tour #5: Configuration Adventures
Using the LI-6400
3-55
What Calibrations Are Installed?
A number of the LI-6400Õs optional chambers and accessories have calibra-
tions associated with them. If they were purchased along with your LI-6400,
then their calibrations will likely have already been entered into the console
at the factory. Otherwise, youÕll have to do it yourself, using the Installation
Menu. How can you tell what calibrations are installed?

To Determine What Calibrations Are Installed:
1
Access the Installation Menu
Highlight it, and press
enter
.
2
Select ÒView Installed Cal ItemsÓ
Press
end
then
-
to highlight it, and press
enter
.
3
View the list
After a few seconds, youÕll see a list that looks something like Figure 3-47. It
will include the three classes of light sensor calibrations.
4
Return to the Config Menu
Press escape until you get there.
A step-by-step example of how to install a 6400-02B Light Source starts on
page 16-5.
User Defined Equations
The final stop on our configuration tour will be to view the user defined equa-
tions. Chapter 15 covers this topic in detail.

Installed Options
All 6400-02 and -02BÕs, includ-
ing serial number and calibra-
tion constants.
All GA- and GB- sensors. This
includes any chamber top hav-
ing a GaAsP sensor.
All external quantum sensors,
which are the traditional LI-COR
PAR sensors.
