NOTE : Make sure that the washer stays aligned with the flange on the fitting while you weld
the washer to the fitting
(9) Fuse weld the washer to the switch fitting assembly
NOTE : If a blowout occurs, re-fuse the blowout area to prevent leakage. Make sure you do not
use too much amperage while you weld the washer to the fitting
(10) Examine the weld and make sure the weld is flush with the flange surface. If the weld is not
flush with the flange surface, refinish the surface
(11) Do a test of the weld area with the dye penetrant kit

6. Replacement
NOTE : Refer to ASSEMBLY section for replacement procedures.
A.
Replace all damaged, defective and used items that are not repairable.
B.
Replace all gaskets that were removed during repair.
C.
Replace all discs assemblies that were removed during repair.
D.
Replace the weight data after you fill the container.

7. Retest
A.
After the repairs are complete, fill the container and does the leak test. Refer to TESTING AND
FAULT ISOLATION section.
