TEST
PROCEDURE 1 (This procedure describes the test method if the pressure controller is not
disassembled from the bottle)
This procedure is used to make sure that the contacts will open and close at the correct
pressures. Electrical power is not necessary to do this test.
a) Test Setup
WARNING : DO ALL WORK ON A PRESSURIZED CONTAINER IN AN EXPLOSION PROOF
BOOTH OR BEHIND AND APPLICABLE BARRIER. IT IS DANGEROUS TO
PERSONS IF THE PRESSURE IS RELEASED FROM THE CONTAINER
ACCIDENTALLY.
(1) Attach the container to the work-stand or in a safety proof booth 751776.
(2) Make sure you have prepared the recharge kit (Refer to ASSEMBLY).
(3) Make sure valves A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H (fig 7001) are closed.
(4) Connect the charging adapter 751219 to the fill plug
(5) Use the lock-pin handle 751219 to lock the charging adapter in position.
b) Do the test as follows:
(1) Connect the multi-meter leads to pressure switch (190) pins 1 and 2 (fig 1001).
The multi-meter must show continuity between pins 1 and 2.
NOTE
: The schematic shows the container pressurized to the operating pressure specified in
Table 1, specified data
