3. Follow the on-screen instructions to initiate and confirm pairing between your device and the STB.
Once Bluetooth pairing is successful, audio from the device may be heard through the display panel’s
speakers. (Make sure the STB volume is at the appropriate level.)
DIAL
The following steps describe how to access and use DIAL. Remember that the device used MUST be
connected to the same network as the STB.
Note:
DIAL may only be used with device applications for which a STB-compatible application (for
example, YouTube) has been created/selected for inclusion in the Pre-loaded Apps Menu (see “Pre-loaded

The applications that may be used in conjunction with DIAL are only accessible from the STB’s
Smart Launcher. If the Pro:Centric application is loaded, you will need a remote with a SMART button in
order to display the Smart Launcher.
1. Turn ON the STB/display panel, and then use one of the following methods to display the STB’s Smart
Launcher, depending on the current configuration of the STB:
• If the Pro:Centric application is not loaded, press
PORTAL
on the Installer Remote.
• If the Pro:Centric application is loaded, press
SMART
on the Installer Remote (see note above
regarding remote with SMART button).
2. Use the Left/Right arrow keys on the Installer Remote to select the desired application, and then press
OK
.
3. On your device, launch the same application, and use the appropriate options (typically available
via Settings) to initiate a connection/pairing with the STB. You may also need to access the Settings
options from the application on the STB to complete the pairing operation. Follow the on-screen
instructions.
Once the connection/pairing is successful, you will be able to view media from the application on the STB/
display panel.
SoftAP
The following steps describe how to access and use the SoftAP feature.
Note:
This procedure describes how to access SoftAP from the STB’s General Menu. It is also possible
to access SoftAP using the Wi-Fi Service option available from the STB’s Smart Launcher (via the PORTAL
button on the remote control if the Pro:Centric application is not loaded or, depending on the remote control
being used [in any mode], via the SMART button
).
