• Adjust White Balance (in the 1/3 page)
- WB Mode: You can select one of the following
modes for white balance adjustment.
> AUTO (Auto-Tracing White Balance): In this
mode, the color temperature is monitored
continuously and thereby white balance is
automatically set. The color temperature
range for the proper white balance is approx-
imately 2500K - 9500K. Proper white balance
may not be obtained under the following
conditions:
1) The color temperature is out of the 2500K
- 9500K range.
2) When the scene contains mostly high
color temperature objects, such as a blue
sky or sunset.
3) When the scene is dim.
> INDOOR: The color temperature range for
the proper white balance is approximately
3200K.
> OUTDOOR: The color temperature range for
the proper white balance is approximately
5100K.
> MANUAL: You can set the white balance
options manually. If you select this option, the
[Red Adjust] and [Blue Adjust] options are
activated.
- RED ADJUST: Set the optimum amount of
red gain.
- BLUE ADJUST: Set the optimum amount
of blue gain.
> PUSH AUTO: 2000K ~ 10000K (Mode rec-
ommended for sodium lighting). If the color
temperature is out of this range in Auto
mode, proper white balance may not be
obtained. In that case, select Push Auto
mode.
Note:
If one color is dominated in the shooted area
in Push Auto mode, the color can be dis-
played differently. Therefore, select the mode
which is appropriate for the environment.
