Assigning the Dynamic IP Address to
the Camera
1. Follow steps 1-4 as shown [Assigning the Static
IP Address to the camera on page 14].
2. Select the [Dynamic IP Address] option
3. Click [Save] icon.
The IP changing page is displayed.
4. Close the web browser.
5. Disconnect the cross cable from the computer
and the camera.
6. Connect the camera to the network using the
LAN cable (Straight cable).
7. Connect the computer to the network using the
LAN cable (Straight cable).
8. Set the network configuration of the computer.
9. Start the IP Finder program and find the IP
address of the connected camera(s) within local
network.
(For more detail use the IP Finder see page 36).
10. Start the web browser on the computer and enter
the found IP address of the camera.
The home page of the camera is displayed.
11. For more detail using the home page of the
camera, refer to [Setup configuration] and
[Operating].
Notes:
• If you use the dynamic IP address, the camera
may not setting the IP address.
• If you cannot find the IP address of the camera
using the IP Finder program, reset the camera and
try it again.
Connecting the Camera to the
Network using the LAN Cable
with the Broadband Router
Assigning the Static IP Address to
the Camera
1. Follow steps 1-4 as shown [Assigning the Static
IP Address to the Camera] on page 14.
2. Enter the [First DNS server] address and the
[Second DNS server] address.
You must use the IP address of the Broadband
router for [First DNS server]. Refer to the man-
ual of Broadband router for IP address of the
Broadband router.
You must enter the DNS server address for net-
work. For more details of DNS address, ask your
network administrator or use the DNS address of
computer.
3. Click [Save] icon of the DNS Server option to
save the settings.
4. Select [Static IP Address] and enter the IP
Address, Subnet Mask and Default Gateway of
the camera.
Note:
You must set the IP address as shown below.
If the IP address of the broadband router is
192.168.10.1, you can set the IP address of
the camera as 192.168.10.n (n: You can use
the number from 2 to 255). It means that the
camera network address is same as broadband
router network address. For more details, refer to
Owner’s manual of the Broadband router.
5. Click [Save] icon of the IP Setup option to save
the settings.
