Adjust the booklet staple position fine adjustment value as
shown in the graphic below:
1. Enter the diagnostic mode.
2. Touch
ENGINE ADJUST
.
3. Touch
Booklet fold adjust
.
4. Touch
Booklet fold pos fine adj.
5. Make required adjustments according to media size.
1 step = .1 mm shift. Target amount to be adjusted is
half the amount of the total Fold Misalignment.
6. Touch
Submit
.
Enter user mode and print the appropriate booklet using the
booklet maker.
Does the staple position fine adjustment appear to be offset
from the fold as shown in the graphic below?
Repeat step 2 until
the Booklet staple
position fine
adjustment is in
spec.
