Changing display icons and labels
You can change the icons and associated text that appear on the printer home screen. If you do not want to use the
default icons for an application, you can import new icons to be used for both the pressed and unpressed button
states.

to each field.

From the Embedded Web Server, click
Settings

From Installed Solutions, click the name of the application you want to configure.

Select each field you want to change.

Enter labels or browse to the appropriate image file.

to save the settings or
Reset
to return to the previous settings.
Configuring Eco-Settings
The Eco-Settings application lets you select energy- and paper-saving settings that can help reduce the
environmental impact of your printer.

Notes:

If your printer model supports duplex printing, you will be able to print on both sides of the paper. Choose
Paper
to set 2-Sided Printing.

to automatically set 2-Sided Printing and Sleep Mode to default values. You will not
be able to modify those settings.

, the printer runs at a speed that is slower than the default speed. You should notice an
increase in processing time for your jobs.

to adjust the time (1–240 minutes) the printer waits before entering a standby mode.

to adjust the time (1–240 minutes) the printer waits before entering a sleep mode.
Note:
Standby Mode will engage automatically when the printer is in Sleep mode.
