A ThinkSystem Analog 1x8 KVM Switch is a KVM (keyboard/video/mouse) switch that enables
you to control multiple servers from a single set of keyboard, mouse, and monitor.
The model name is SM27A17643 or generally 1754-A1T.
With the 1754-A1T switch, a user can access a maximum of 8 connected servers.
Product Overview
Just connect the keyboard, mouse, monitor and all servers to a 1754-A1T switch, and you will
be able to switch among servers connected to that 1754-A1T switch.
If cascading 1754-A1T switches to form a two-tier system, the number of accessible servers can
be expanded up to 64 servers. See
The 1754-A1T switch features the use of ThinkSystem USB conversion cables (Category 5e/6
UTP) for connecting servers.
