Notes:
• If the file extension is not .tar.gz, skip the second command.
• In the command lines,

represents the driver name.

To install the driver, do the following:
1. Download the driver from the Lenovo Web site. If the driver is a compressed file, unzip it to a folder. The
most up-to-date device drivers for various server models are always available for download on the
Lenovo Web site at:
2. Copy the folder that contains the driver to your USB storage device and connect the USB storage device
to your server.
3. Log in to the operating system and copy the folder from your USB storage device to the
/tmp
directory
on your server.
4. Use the following commands to install the driver:
cd /tmp
cd rpms-2
rpm-ivh *.rpm

In the command lines,
rpms-2
represents the name of the folder that the drive is stored.

represents the driver name. Use the corresponding file name on your server.
