TELETEXT AND FASTEXT 
The function of TELETEXT and FASTEXT should operate exactly as your original 
remote.  

TIME OUT 
In the set up mode, if did not press any key within 1 minute, the system will 
returns to normal mode. 
In normal mode, if did not press any key within 10 seconds, the LCD will be shut 
down for power saving.  

PROBLEM & SOLUTION TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS 
Your brand is not listed in the code list section? 
Try the search method on page 4.  

The RC-8-2 does not operate your device(s)? 
A)  Try all the codes listed for your brand. 
B)  Try the search method on page 4.  

The RC-8-2 is not performing commands properly? 
You may be using the wrong code. Try repeating the Direct Setup using another 
code listed under your brand or start the search method over again to locate the 
proper code.  

Problems changing channels? 
Enter the programme number exactly as you would on your original remote.  

The RC-8-2 does not respond after pressing a key? 
Make sure you are using new batteries and are aiming the RC-8-2 at your 
device.  

Upon each key press, the LCD display goes off. 
Replace batteries with 2 fresh, new "AAA/LR03" alkaline batteries
