(1) IR (Infra-red) Transmission
IR is being "sent" or "received".
(2) Device keys
These device keys select the device to be controlled.
(3) POWER key
The POWER key controls the same function as on your original remote control.
(4) Number keys
The number (1-9, 0, 11, 12) keys provide functions just like your original remote
control. In AUD mode the number keys will provide direct input selection.
(5) -/-- key
If your original remote uses one/two digit input switching (-/--), this Function can
be obtained by pressing the -/-- key.
(6) ESC key
The ESC key provides you to exit the setup during programming and shown on
LCD as EXIT.
(7) I-II key
If available on your original remote control this key will allow you to access the
Mono/Stereo mode of your device.
(8) TV/AV key
The TV/AV key operates the same function it did on your original remote.
(9) CH +/- keys
These keys operate just as those on your original remote. During the
programming, it serves like page up and page down to move through the different
screens within certain commands.

These keys operate just as those on your original remote.

The MUTE key operates the same function it did on your original remote.
(12) MARCO keys
The Marco keys give you the possibility to customize the RC-8-2 to issue a
sequence of commands at the press of one button.
(13) Transport keys
When in VCR, SAT, DVD, CD, or AUD mode; these keys operate the transport
functions (REW, PLAY, FFW, etc..) of your device.
(14) Teletext Keys (
)
These keys are used to operate the main teletext functions. Of course, your
Television must have teletext capability.
(15) SET key
The SET key is used to set up your
RC-8-2 and to access special functions and operations.
(16) Red / Green / Yellow / Blue, Color +/-, Brig/- Keys
When accessing the text mode, the color keys marked red, green, yellow, and
blue, allow you to access the fastext functions of your television. It did also as
picture adjustment for Color ( ) and Brightness (
) on TV mode status.
