9.4.3 Pressure load on the rollers - entry behaviour
The pressure load on the rollers is determined by the top link position and the
cross shaft mounting position.
The hydraulic system for the tractor three-point linkage must be set to the float
position.
Cross shaft
The cross shaft should always be mounted in the upper mounting position.
The cross shaft should only be moved to the lower mounting position if the im-
plement cannot be lifted high enough, or if the pressure load on the rollers is too
high even when the top link is in the optimum position.
The hydraulic system for the tractor three-point linkage must be set to the float
position.
