3.2 How to enter the Service Menu
3.2.1 General Menu Information
After start up process the Main page is displayed on Leica M525 OH4 Control Unit.
There is a quick access button (1) bar to go to the Main-, Speed-, Menu- and Help- pages.
The button “Main” (2) opens Main page which allows you to set Magnification, Working Distance and
brightness.
You can also switch of Brightcare
TM
, adjust D-Balance, activate WD reset function or change the lamp.
The button “Speed” (3) opens Speed page which allows you to adjust speed of Zoom, Focus and X/Y
motor. You can also chose between Focus Lock and XYZ Free for Selected Brakes
The button “Menu” (4) opens Menu page. Here you find 4 buttons to go to “User settings” area,
“Maintenance” Menu, “How To” pages and the “Service Menu”.
The button “Help” (5) in the quick access button bar opens a page with 16 “How to…”-pages. The
“How To…” pages are quick reference guides to the most important topics.
The button “Check” (6) shows up incase any errors occur. Press the “Check “ button to open a list with
all error messages.
The Status line (7) gives you at any time the information of active user and/or current position in the
menu.
Dynamic Button bar (8) offers you different functions depending from where you are in the menu.
