Installing Leica MDRS for fluorescence
Insert the MDRS fluorescence software CD (10 448 256) and
install the MDRS fluorescence software (see included
installation manual).
The following additional cable connections must be realized in
order to use the MDRS:

Connect "Scope" (25) on the rear of the MDRS system unit
and "MDRS" on the VGA Switchboard (13) using the control
cable (24).

When using a Leica DI C500 to display the NIR video
sequences of the Leica MDRS, connect the XGA video
able to the Leica DI C500 at the VGA port (26) of the Leica
MDRS system unit.

When using the Leica OH4 with at least one of the following
components:
Leica MDRS with MDRS fluorescence software
Leica FL800 camera
Leica FL800 camera
make the video connections as follows:

Installing and connecting the camera control unit (optional)
The camera control unit of an optional microscope camera or
the optional Leica FL400 UV camera may be placed in the video
drawer of the Leica OH4.
Insert the camera cable in the control unit outside and guide it
through the stand to the optics carrier.

The video couplings may be used to transfer video signals
from a camera control unit or the Leica MDRS system unit to
external devices such as existing surgical monitors.
