Connecting Control Signal

Pulse, Direction, Enable Input

The ES-DH series drives can accept/receive differential pulse, direction and enable inputs. They can
also be connected to PNP (sourcing) or NPN (sinking) type controllers.

For the enable signal, apply

0V between ENA+ and ENA- or leave them unconnected to enable the drive. If you don

’

t need to

disable the drive, just leave them unconnected.

In a NPN (sourcing) type output, the control signals share the same positive terminal.
