Charging the battery
Your electric bicycle comes equipped with the pictured charger for
your Protanium
®
Lithium Polymer battery (patent pending). This is
exclusive to the startandgo! electric bicycle and should not be used
for other applications. Using a charger other than the one pictured
below may be dangerous, it will affect battery performance and will
not be covered by the warranty. Recharge the battery at least once
every second month regardless the usage.


LED Indicator vs. Capacity
Please see below table as reference for battery capacity status.
4 indicators lamp are on :
85 to100 % recharged
3 indicators lamp are on :
60 — 85 % recharged
2 indicators lamp are on :
30 — 60 % recharged
1 indicators lamp is on :
10 — 30 % recharged
No indicators lamp is on :
battery total discharged
Please note ! Charge the battery completely before use for the
first time by plugging into the charger for six hours until all four
LED lights are illuminated. The user needs to push the LED panel
to check the charging status. Always recharge the battery after
you finish your ride. When the battery is fully charged,
the charger stops charging process.

