The collision control has to be activated in the ChipScan-Scanner software by ticking the
"Depth Test" checkbox. This is only possible if the SSMB-SSMB depth-test cable is connected to
the SSMB connector of the ICR probe and the SSMB connector on the rotary unit (Figure 73,
Figure 80) and the ICR probe's power supply has been established via the bias-tee.
With the collision control function activated, the rotary unit's downward movement is stopped if the
ICR probe tip touches the surface of a DUT, for example.
