6.14 Security
system
The E230 meter has four (ZxR100xC) or five (ZMR100xR)
authentication levels. Level 0 does not require any password, level 1 has
an uncoded password, level 2 a coded password, level 3 a coded
password plus requires physical hardware interaction of the MD button
press (ZMR100xR only) and level 4 requires both an internal hardware
switches and a password (factory only).
Level 0 provides read access to all data, level 1 write access to non-
critical data and level 2 write access to non-critical parameters.
