A positive field value will be reported when the magnetic field direction is in the stem 
toward the handle or mounting block.

3-Axis

With three different axes, identifying field direction and polarity is much more diffi-
cult than single-axis probes. In this situation, the handle will be less useful that look-
ing directly at the stem tip where active area location and axis labels are laser 
engraved.
